Gus-speak

Me: Hey Gus.. What’s up? Do I see Star Wars on your shirt?

Gus: Yeah. This is Darth Vader.

Me: Oh! Is he the good guy or the bad guy?

Gus: He is a bad guy. He does this to everybody.. (fist-stabs himself)

Me: Ah! So do you like him?

Gus: Hmm, I like to ‘see’ him.

 

Now, there my darlings is my profound statement for the day. From a 5 year old who didn’t speak a word of English until last term.
